Principal's Message

Dear High School Students and Families:

It is with great anticipation that I contemplate the 2009 – 2010 school year at Nuview Bridge Early College High School.  I have incredibly fond memories of my own high school experiences involving leadership, maturation, academic growth and fun.  The staff and I look forward to providing these types of experiences for you and your student throughout this school year.

NBECHS has experienced tremendous academic success over the last four years culminating with our recognition as a 2009 California Distinguished School.  We also graduated our largest senior class with many students having also earned an Associate’s Degree from Riverside Community College.  My belief is that these achievements are merely scratching the surface of our combined potential.

The NBECHS staff and I pledge to study many research-based strategies for creating a safer and even more personal learning community that empowers youth and involves all stakeholders in the decisions that affect them.  It is my belief that we must prepare students socially to enter the world of adulthood with the same care and purposefulness that we are preparing them academically.

I encourage you to stay involved with the program at NBECHS.  I am available should you have any questions or concerns.  Contact me at 951-928-8498 (work) or 951-302-9199 (home) or via email at .

Sincerely,

Joe Koski
Assistant Superintendent and Interim Principal
